Lot Details
What You Should Know: An exceptionally uncommon variation of Chopard’s landmark L.U.C 1860, the reference 17/1860/2 pairs a black dial and white gold case with a factory-set diamond bezel, bringing together the manufacture’s emerging watchmaking ambitions with its longstanding jewellery expertise. Inside is the celebrated calibre 1.96, Chopard’s first modern in-house movement, combining a 22-carat gold micro-rotor, twin stacked barrels and a 70-hour power reserve, alongside both COSC certification and the Poinçon de Genève. Measuring just 37mm by 8.5mm, its elegant proportions and unusually expressive configuration make this a particularly compelling example of the watch that established the modern L.U.C collection.
