From its heat-blued titanium cases to its extraordinary celestial dials, the colour has become an unmistakable part of the manufacture's identity. The present DB25 Power Reserve takes this association a step further. Created in 2016 as a special request from a collector who wished to celebrate De Bethune's signature colour, it replaces the red power reserve indication of the standard production model with a beautiful blue one. A seemingly subtle modification, yet one that gives the watch an entirely different character, and one that was realised in just three examples. Crafted in white gold, the present DB25 features the distinctive openworked bullet lugs and elegant proportions characteristic of the collection. Beneath its classically styled dial lies the automatic calibre 2024, incorporating De Bethune's proprietary balance wheel and balance spring technologies, alongside the meticulous finishing for which the manufacture is celebrated. Designated as a "Commande Spéciale" and bearing serial number 003, the present example offers a particularly personal interpretation of an already distinctive model. Accompanied by its travel pouch and a service certificate dated 2026, this extremely rare DB25 Power Reserve is a quiet flex among De Bethune collectors.
