What You Should Know: A collaboration between H. Moser & Cie. and The Armoury, the Total Eclipse takes the understated Endeavour Small Seconds and reduces it to an elegant 38mm case, with the entire design centred around its extraordinary Vantablack dial. Absorbing virtually all visible light, the dial creates the impression of a void, framed by a polished steel inner bezel representing the corona of a total solar eclipse. Breguet-shaped hands and discreet dot indices add a classical touch, while the manually wound HMC 327 keeps the dial exceptionally clean, with its 72-hour power reserve indicated on the movement side. Produced in just 28 examples in this all-steel configuration, the present watch is a particularly refined expression of the collaboration between two houses united by an appreciation for understated design and craftsmanship.
