Lot Details

What You Should Know: Introduced in 2016 and limited to just 12 pieces, the DB25 World Traveller was De Bethune’s first interpretation of the world-time complication. Its polished white gold case frames an ingenious concentric display, with local time shown conventionally, world time arranged around a rotating city disc and home time indicated by a miniature sphere in rose gold and blued steel that simultaneously displays day and night. Behind it sits the manually wound DB2547, the 25th calibre developed by De Bethune, offering five days of power reserve and many of the technical signatures that define the manufacture. Complex yet remarkably intuitive, the World Traveller transforms a familiar complication into something unmistakably De Bethune.
