What You Should Know: A piece unique Laurent Ferrier Galet Micro-Rotor, the present watch combines a 5N red gold case with a Breguet numeral dial and the watchmaker’s signature Assegai-shaped hour and minute hands. While Breguet numerals have appeared on other Galet Micro-Rotors, typically accompanied by matching Breguet-style hands, this is the only example confirmed with this particular combination, bringing together two distinct elements of Laurent Ferrier’s design language. Dating to circa 2013 and numbered 138, it is powered by the celebrated automatic micro-rotor calibre with its natural escapement, making this unique configuration an especially compelling early expression of Laurent Ferrier’s work.
