Offered as a full set, it represents a rare opportunity to own the very first example of this award-winning timepiece. In Their Own Words: "Awarded the title of “Best Complication” by Revolution magazine and the Chronometry Prize at the GPHG, the Chronomètre FB 2RE immediately captured the attention of collectors and horological experts alike upon its launch in 2020. The collection draws inspiration from Ferdinand Berthoud’s Marine Clock No. 6, a benchmark of reliability and precision that earned the master watchmaker, in 1770, the prestigious title of “Horloger-Mécanicien du Roi et de la Marine française.” The Chronomètre FB 2RE reinterprets the architecture and design of this emblematic marine chronometer through the lens of modern haute horlogerie, meeting the strictest standards of quality and precision. Its 18-carat white gold round case houses an entirely novel movement that combines a fusee-and-chain transmission with a one-second remontoir d’égalité. This rare configuration enables the display of a natural deadbeat seconds on a two-level Grand Feu enamel dial, blending technical mastery with refined legibility.
