Lot Details

The Kudoke Model 3 represents the most expressive creation of German independent watchmaker Stefan Kudoke. This example features the striking salmon dial configuration, whose warm tone contrasts beautifully with the openworked upper dial revealing the balance. The watch showcases Kudoke’s signature hand-engraved aesthetic and meticulous finishing, hallmarks of the Dresden-based atelier. Combining traditional craftsmanship with a bold architectural layout, the Model 3 has quickly become one of the most recognizable watches from the German independent scene. In their own words: "During the development of Kaliber 1 I got inspired by the design of historical English pocket watches whose use of forms I deliberately incorporated into my movement. Ages ago I bought an old English pocket watch movement, that lay unused in a drawer for a long time. One day it fell into my hands again – just as the idea of an own movement began to take shape."
