A unique version of the recently released Selten Jui Bauhinia, created especially for The Echo. This pièce unique is distinguished by a highly intricate hand engraving on the caseband by master engraver Carlos Koo. The delicate work adds a remarkable artisanal dimension to the watch while celebrating Hong Kong’s cultural identity. Notably, 100% of the proceeds from the sale will benefit Feeding Hong Kong, the city’s first independent B2B food bank. In their own words: "The Jui Bauhinia is a meaningful collaboration between Hong Kong–based enthusiast collective Watch Ho & Co(mmunity) and microbrand Selten, created in partnership with master engraver Carlos Koo for a unique charitable project. Conceived as a tribute to Hong Kong and its floral emblem, the name “Jui” (聚) signifies gathering — reflecting the union of local and global watch communities behind this initiative. Entirely homegrown, the project brings together a local collective, brand, and artisan. For this one-of-a-kind pair, Carlos Koo — a self-taught master of traditional hand engraving — devoted over 20 hours to each watch, meticulously chiseling Bauhinia flowers into the steel mid-case using only traditional tools. The result is a fully immersive floral landscape extending around and between the lugs, paired with two distinct mother-of-pearl dials in pearlescent pink and romantic purple. These exceptional timepieces are dedicated to a critical local cause, with 100% of auction proceeds benefiting Feeding Hong Kong, the city’s first independent B2B food bank. In a city where over one million people live in poverty while surplus food is discarded daily, Feeding Hong Kong rescues high-quality excess food and redistributes it to more than 150 welfare organizations. Every HK$5–8 donated helps provide a meal to someone in need, supporting shelters, elderly centers, and community programs.
