Lot Details

The Berneron Mirage has quickly established itself as one of the most talked-about releases in recent independent watchmaking. The present example is fitted with a striking tiger’s eye stone dial set within an 18k yellow gold case, a combination that lends the Mirage an unexpectedly vintage character. In many ways, the watch evokes the presence of a beautifully preserved vintage piece one might not immediately recognize, despite being an entirely contemporary creation. Notably, this marks the first time a Mirage with a tiger’s eye dial has been offered at auction. A highly requested model since its debut, it stands among the most distinctive designs produced by a new generation of independent watchmakers.
