The Reference 1140L embodies the refined aesthetic that has long defined Urban Jürgensen, pairing a handmade black guilloché dial with the warmth of a yellow gold case. Inspired by the elegance of 1930s watchmaking, its distinctive dial is characterised by a prominent oversized small seconds register that creates a striking and beautifully balanced composition. The exceptionally sophisticated case features a convex mid-case and individually soldered teardrop lugs finished to a remarkable standard. Powered by the Calibre P4, developed by Jean-François Mojon's Chronode exclusively for Urban Jürgensen, the watch combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technical execution. Further enhancing its appeal, this example houses movement number 008—a particularly desirable and auspicious number among collectors—and is offered as a complete set signed by Kari Voutilainen, representing an important chapter in the revival of one of independent watchmaking's most respected names.
