What You Should Know: This one-of-a-kind “Pink-on-Pink” Antiqua is the only pink gold example to feature silver dials executed in a matching tone, instead of the traditional grey configuration. It is one of only two unique Antiqua watches ever created, alongside a separate high-jewelry piece, making it exceptionally important within Vianney Halter’s oeuvre. As one of the final Antiquas produced, made in 2017, it benefits from the later-generation movement architecture, eliminating the need for the upgrades often required during servicing of earlier examples. The watch is accompanied by its original patented Antiqua winder, fully manufactured in-house by Vianney Halter and today valued separately at approximately CHF 35,000. Despite its legendary Futur Anterieur inspired presence, the Antiqua wears far smaller than expected on the wrist — a true icon of independent watchmaking and one of the most historically important wristwatches of the modern era.
